About the Role:Are you passionate about education and looking for a rewarding role in Sheffield? Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team on a long-term basis. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for students by covering lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Ensure students remain on task with the work set by the absent teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable; experience working with young people via Scouts/Guides/sports coaching is also considered
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
