What You’ll Do: Build and maintain strong school partnerships by developing positive, professional relationships with administrators, counselors, teachers, and support staff while demonstrating a clear understanding of school policies, procedures, and culture. Support early identification and referral processes by collaborating with school personnel to recognize youth who may benefit from mental health services and educating staff about available programs and service options. Provide guidance on referrals and documentation, including training key school staff on intake procedures, required paperwork, and assessment tools (such as CBCLs), ensuring referrals are accurate and complete. Facilitate timely service access by coordinating communication between schools, families, intake therapists, and clinical supervisors to reduce delays and remove barriers to care. Engage and support families through outreach, education about available services, and collaborative problem-solving to address transportation, scheduling, stigma, or other barriers to treatment participation. Collaborate with treatment teams to monitor student progress, ensure appropriate levels of care, and adjust services as needed to promote optimal functioning at school, home, and in the community. Complete thorough and timely documentation, tracking, and reporting in compliance with program standards, including use of assessment tools such as CAFAS or DLA-20 when required. Provide direct CBS/Waiver services as needed, serving as an adjunct to the assigned Case Manager.
