Its focus is advocating and implementing integrated care model approach to underserved population undergoing behavioral health related issues.  REPORTS TO:    CLASSIFICATION:    DATE APPROVED:  July 2025  LOCATION:  Washington D.C.  FTE  1.0  ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS  Standard Office / Sit, stand, walk, lift 15 lbs  POSITION SUMMARY    The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership and clinical oversight to direct care and counseling staff within PHRI programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered, trauma-informed behavioral health and substance use disorder services. The Clinical Supervisor plays a critical role in program development, staff supervision, training, documentation compliance, and quality assurance. This position supports the agency's mission by fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement in clinical care.    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  * Provide clinical supervision to licensed and pre-licensed staff, interns, and peer support personnel. * Oversee treatment planning, case reviews, and clinical documentation in accordance with Medicaid/Medicare, MCO, and accreditation standards. * Conduct regular supervision sessions and clinical case conferences. * Monitor staff performance, support professional development, and complete evaluations. * Lead onboarding and training of new clinicians on PHRI’s model of care, documentation standards, and clinical policies. * Provide crisis support, de-escalation guidance, and review of critical incidents. * Support utilization management processes, level of care determinations, and discharge planning. * Assist in implementing evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement initiatives. * Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, audits, and policy development. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS    * Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology. * Independent licensure in D.C. required (LICSW, LPC, or equivalent). * Must meet requirements to provide clinical supervision per DC regulations. * 5+ years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. * Experience working with substance use disorder and co-occurring populations. * Familiarity with trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and ASAM criteria. * Proficient in EMR systems and documentation practices. * Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe) and various business software. * Legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.
