Under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider, the LPN assists in patient care, treatment, and comfort. Establish and maintain communication with the healthcare team, patients, and families. 2. Inform the supervising Registered Nurse/Physician about patient activities, observations, and changes in condition. 3. Provide patient and family education related to health conditions, treatment plans, and home care. Documentation & Compliance: 1. Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of patient medical records. 2. Adhere to universal precautions and patient safety standards in all interactions. 3. If completing virtual care activities that may include multi-state practice, an active compact/multistate license (eNLC) is required within 60 days of hire.
