We have the perfect opportunity in the Eliott Hotel, Gibraltar. Imagine most days filled of sunshine, where English is the spoken language and in 10 minutes you can be in Spain!
The hotel has undergone a major refurbishment with every aspect of the hotel updated and now we need a Maintenance Manager to ensure that we keep the product at the high four star standard that our guests demand.

The main duties of this role are as follows -

• Responsible for delivering the planned and reactive maintenance activities with minimum impact to guests and within agreed budget controls and time-frames.
• Manage and monitor the performance of the in-house maintenance team and sub-contractors on the full range of hard and soft services ensuring that they deliver a quality service on time and within agreed budget.
• Manage effectively all engineering related projects through all stages ensuring that any delays are communicated and that expectations are managed without impact to guest experience and that budget controls are maintained through
• Responsibility for all Health Safety aspects ensuring that guests, customers and employees are kept safe at all times and any concerns highlighted are managed effectively and efficiently.
• Building and maintaining relationships with the key stakeholders ensuring that a quality service is provided by the engineering department to our colleagues guests.
• To be fully involved in identifying opportunities for Energy Management, educating others along this journey so that all employees become aware of energy wastage.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED TO BRING -

• Minimum 3 years experience within a similar role.
• Able to demonstrate sound maintenance and electrical knowledge.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and able to motivate the team.
• Health and safety and risk assessment experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience of dealing with people at all levels.
• Sound knowledge of financial controls and budgeting.
• Focused on and driven to provide the highest quality of customer service.
• Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  You’ll be supported by a strong SMT and have the benefit of working for a group with centralised processes to support you in your role. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a key part to the successful running of the hotel located in the centre of Gibraltar.
