ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a committed full-time Cook/Chef to lead by example in delivering nutritious, freshly prepared meals for our residents. This is a key role within our home, supporting both the health and wellbeing of those we care for through excellent food service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare and cook a wide range of high-quality meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs, preferences, and nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with the team to plan varied menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and resident feedback.
• Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and efficient workflows.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Supervise, support, and train kitchen staff to uphold consistency and excellence in food delivery.
• Monitor kitchen stock, handle ordering needs, and minimise waste through effective planning.
• Liaise with care, housekeeping, and management teams to ensure mealtime satisfaction and resident wellbeing.
