FULL-TIME MASSAGE THERAPIST & HOLISTIC WELLNESS PRACTITIONER (WITH RETREAT SUPPORT)

Compensation: £12.50 per hour + £12.50 per massage performed (bonuses available)
About Us
Tranquil Waters is a small, family-run wellness retreat dedicated to healing, relaxation, and holistic living. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive environment for our guests while offering therapies, retreats, and wellness services that truly make a difference.
We are looking for an adaptable full-time team member who is skilled in massage therapy and holistic wellness, but who is also happy to contribute across the retreat in a variety of roles — from hosting guests to supporting admin and maintaining our facilities.
The Role
This is a diverse and hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll be delivering therapies, guiding clients in their wellbeing journeys, supporting the smooth running of our retreats, and assisting with everyday tasks to ensure our guests have an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality massage therapy and holistic wellness treatments.
• Supporting guests with lifestyle and wellbeing guidance.
• Hosting and assisting with retreat programmes and workshops.
• Helping with general admin and client communication.
• Looking after the facilities, including light cleaning and setup.
• Being a welcoming presence for all guests and ensuring a seamless retreat experience.

Compensation

• £12.50 per hour standard rate.
• Additional £12.50 per hour for each massage performed.
• Bonuses available based on performance and retreat contributions.
• Required to work one weekend per month as part of the role.

Desired Skills & Qualities

• Qualified massage therapist (Swedish, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, or other modalities).
• Knowledge of holistic wellbeing practices (e.g., mindfulness, breathwork, nutrition, Reiki).
• Background or interest in our retreat deliverables:
• Healing from Within (emotional release, trauma healing, inner work)
• Spiritual Awakening (guided practices, meditations, self-discovery)
• Longevity & Biohacking (optimising health through modern therapies and lifestyle approaches)
• Friendly, adaptable, and team-oriented.
• Willing to get involved in all aspects of retreat life — from cleaning to guest hosting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, organised, and professional.
