Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as front of house Staff. The ideal candidate will be working primarily on the bar and helping in the restaurant where necessary.
Rate of pay will begin at minimum wage but has the potential to increase for the right candidate after 6 months. Please note you must be available to work weekends and during holiday periods.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately
- Upsell menu items and promote special promotions to guests
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service
- Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide help when needed
- Understanding of upselling techniques to enhance guest experience
