Oaklands Care Home is a warm and welcoming residential care home for the elderly, specialising in dementia care. With 31 residents, we are committed to providing a high standard of care and support – and mealtimes play a key role in the wellbeing of those we look after.
We are currently seeking an experienced Cook or Chef to join our dedicated team. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents by preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals in a friendly and supportive environment.

• Plan and prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals that cater to individual dietary needs
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety standards
• Work with care staff to ensure residents’ dietary requirements are met (including allergies, textures, and preferences)
• Manage stock levels, ordering supplies as needed
• Support and comply with all health and safety, hygiene, and infection control policies
