Gooey is a local bakery with big ambitions! We’re looking for talented and creative individuals to get involved and be part of the journey.

• solid understanding and application of bakery production techniques and processes including bread experience;
• ability to accurately follow product specifications/recipes;
• experience of recipe development including delivery of specials;
• an understanding cost control, stock management, ordering and menu costing/GP;
• ability to lead and develop a team, standing in for Head Baker Chef when required, and
• excellent knowledge and application of Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
  You will have a true passion and enthusiasm for the industry, follow food trends and keep up to date with new industry developments. You will be willing to share your experience and ideas to help grow the business and develop others. You will have a ‘can do’ attitude along with a strong work ethic. You will have at least one years’ experience in a similar role, along with a desire to learn and grow with us as we expand our production and product range.
