we’re on the lookout for a waiter / waitress to join our team at Blue Catering for some ad hoc shifts, roughly 1 shift per week but some extra shifts available as and when.
We specialise in wedding catering and work with some amazing venues in and around York and Yorkshire providing BBQ sharing boards and a relaxed sharing and feasting style of food.
We need someone who can help with serving the food, clearing away and just chatting to customers and being lovely. Some experience would be preferred but not necessary as training can be provided, more important is someone with the right attitude and keen to learn.
We usually have between 1 shift a week, mostly Saturdays but with occasional mid week shifts offered.
Shifts are roughly 8hrs long and include paid breaks, we also pay toward travel time plus an allowance for petrol if you have to get to and from the venues. We can also offer lift shares so driving is not always essential. We provide staff food after all services, we’re a small company with a core team who are very supportive and can help learn on the job.
