JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: COMMIS CHEF

RESPONSIBLE TO: Executive Chef
FUNCTION: To carry out all duties as directed by Chefs de Partie, Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef & Executive Chef. To prepare food as per hotel standards;

1. To work as per schedule;
2. To attend all duties on time;
3. To carry out duties as instructed;
4. To give assistance wherever required;
5. To maintain high standards of cooking and personal hygiene;
6. To be responsible for keeping own work area clean at all times;
7. To maintain a good attitude and working relationship with
   colleagues;
8. To ensure correct handling of equipment;
9. To undertake other duties as may be reasonably requested by senior
   members of staff.
