Mostly evenings and weekend work for Restaurant and functions, Beverage and Food service specialists.
Currently seeking a professional live wire with a passion for customer service and making sales. We need you to lead by example and help us on our journey to being the best dining experience in Washington… An enthusiastic and charismatic personality is a must for our state-of-the-art restaurant/Bar Carter & Fitch at the front of the hotel. Applicants must be aged 18+ due to licensing laws.

The suitable candidate should have the following: -

• Experience within a busy high street restaurant environment
• Ability to operate the restaurant & bar with a pro-active and positive attitude
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Posses and prove commitment and determination, whilst delivering strong leadership and able to motivate the develop the restaurant team
• Show good communication skills and the ability to work alongside the hotel’s management team to develop strategic and tactical development of this important business
• Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
• Manage any guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Service of food and beverage

The Mercure Newcastle George Washington Hotel Golf & Spa is an independently owned 4 -star hotel, golf and leisure complex located on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Job Types: Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour
