Archie’s is a relaxed, informal neighbourhood cafe, bar and bistro and is looking for a kitchen assistant to work 2-4 days to assist the kitchen with food production and cleaning.
Main duties required:
- Washing / Drying plates and equipment
- Helping with Food Preparation and learning about cooking
- Maintaining the kitchen’s organisation, cleanliness and hygiene

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant with a positive attitude who want to learn. You will need to have:
- A positive attitude and be interested in working in a kitchen
- Be reliable, honest, upbeat and up for a challenge
- Be interested in food
- Some English
- Ability to stay positive under pressure
- Be available most weekends
We need someone with at least 1 year’s kitchen / commercial cooking experience ideally but not essential, who wants to improve their food knowledge and work ethic
