We are looking for a talented and passionate Director of Technology Innovation & Data to join our team! We are looking for a candidate who has good communication and leadership skills, ha s a passion for service and ha s strong interpersonal and team player skills. They must be able to deal with the challenges of a business that is open 24 hours a day. These challenges make this industry and this particular job both fascinating and demanding.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• The ideal candidate will have five years of experience in hotel IT with at least two years experience as a Hotel Director of Technology Innovation & Data .
• Project management and knowledge of hospitality applications, PMS, HSIA and POS would be considered an asset.
• Highest level of integrity and transparency
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and a team player with high energy levels to work with cross-functional teams, negotiate for resources and influence stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare and deliver reports, projects, effective presentations and facilitate meetings.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, conflict- resolution and strategic-thinking skills
• Promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities
• Apply an ethical approach to influence the outcome of situations
• Serve as a role model for others by demonstrating appropriate business conduct
• A working technical knowledge of hotel systems and operations.
• Desirable Microsoft or Cisco Certifications, strong network- building and trouble-shooting skills, including Microsoft Operating Systems, MAC Operating Systems and applications
• Strong business, resources and project planning experience

The Director of Technology Innovation & Data will execute hotel and corporate system strategies, be responsible for efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data and voice communications activities at the property. They will also forecast technology requirements and upgrades to the existing technology to improve effectiveness of installed systems. The Director of Technology Innovation & Data will report to the Director of Finance.
