Coordinates unit based clinical orientation program for new staff, students and preceptors. 9. Works with preceptors to individualizes unit orientation. 10 .Assists departmental or unit teams in the developing annual competency checklists. 11. Under direction of the CNS and Unit Director, assists with meeting the education and training needs of staff. 12. Assists with the development of clinical leadership and critical thinking skills in others. 13. Mentors new existing staff by sharing knowledge, skills and departmental processes.
