Our program utilizes both group and individualized therapy, psychopharmacology, pharmacogenetic testing, and a wide variety of adjuvant therapies. We are a voluntary facility – patients are here on their own accord, and we do not utilize restraints or forceful measures of treatment. Essential Duties: Directing and overseeing our amazing nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) Developing and carrying out nursing department policies and procedures Manage department record keeping and nursing staff documentation Managing facility infection control policies and procedures as needed Working with medical and clinical teams to plan, carry out, and evaluate patient treatment plans Maintain a safe and sanitary environment Attends staff training and meetings as required by the employer Communicating with the pharmacy as needed Assisting the nursing team with daily activities as needed Follows all policies and procedures with regard to patient information protection, including alcohol-drug patient confidentiality and HIPAA Other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with at least a BSN and current licensure in GA as an R.N. 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience Experience in policy management, leadership, and regulation compliance Knowledge of legal regulations and evidence-based practice Ability to deal with both chemically dependent and individuals in psychiatric care in a non-judgmental, compassionate fashion Excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, and customer service Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Valid and unrestricted RN license in TN Current BLS certificate Key Competencies: Compassion toward people in recovery and in mental health treatment Excellent nursing judgment Willingness to work with clients of all backgrounds and populations.
