This position reports to the Operations Manager.
Position Overview
Delivery drivers are integral to the functioning of Peake and our corporate deliveries. They are responsible for ensuring the successful completion of corporate and delivery orders, maintaining friendly client-company relations, and keeping Peake’s equipment safe and in working order. Delivery specialists are expected to know and display Peake’s Core values.

Major Responsibilities

• Attends departmental meetings/briefings as required
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at every drop-off and pick-up
• Track all equipment used on deliveries and ensure it is picked up and kept to Peake’s standards
• Daily organizing and cleaning of equipment and the Peake Operations areas at HQ
• Ensure the Peake vans are properly stocked and equipped and that the emergency kits are maintained
• Assist in the packing of deliveries and event equipment according to the posted schedule and needs
• Support the operations management team

Tasks outside of those outlined in the job description may be required during times of increased demand

Qualifications

• Clean driving record
• Previous delivery experience considered an asset
• Comfortable driving commercial vans through the Greater Vancouver Area
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
• Reliable, team-orientated, and maintains a positive attitude under pressure

Physical & Mental Demands

• This role will require lifting of supplies, equipment, and product. Exposure to normal kitchen and operation area hazards
• This position requires long periods of driving in a van in and around the Greater Vancouver Area
• Frequent interruptions from team members, environmental noise, and tight deadlines
• This position may require basic math skills
• This position requires interfacing and communication with clients and customers
