About us
Southern Co-op, the owner of Cobra Coffee, is the first franchise partner to Wenzel’s, a well-loved high street bakery offering great value, quality products which include handcrafted sandwiches, savouries, freshly baked bread and sweet treats. With over 100 sites already operating across London and the south-east, we’re on the lookout for talented people with a passion for food and customer service to come and join the team at one of our new sites.
There is now an exciting opportunity to come and join the team as one of our Store Supervisors.
What we offer:
What to expect:
As one of our Shift Supervisors you will have the chance to work alongside our hardworking team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes and other food products in line with our Company standards, whilst providing excellent customer service and selling high quality fresh food. The successful candidate will be trained to Wenzel’s Company standards and be eligible for future progression.
A shift supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the day to day running of the store and supervising the team, ensuring the growth of the business through increasing sales, controlling costs and delivering profit, whilst also developing and leading the store team in order to build a loyal customer base. Working as a shift supervisor your key responsibilities could include:
Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment at supervisory level is required. Experience working in food production would be advantageous but not essential as full ongoing training will be provided.
Given the nature of our stores, our working hours include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
What is our process?
Application > CV review > Telephone Interview > Provide right to work documentation > Interview and in store experience > Offer and onboarding
