Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: * Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: * Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required * Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA * Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA * Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required * Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment * Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR Facility Specific License/Certifications: * AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required Essential Functions: * Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. * Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. * Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location. * Maintains accurate records, files and billing information.
