Kounkuey Design Initiative (KDI) is a team of diverse urbanists—landscape architects, urban planners, community organizers, and engineers—united by our shared commitment to building equity, justice, and resilience in communities through design. JOB DESCRIPTION
This role combines strong writing abilities with organizational support, making it ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, hands-on roles. Approximately 70% of your responsibilities will involve crafting compelling proposals for funding and drafting presentations for senior management lectures, etc. The remaining 30% will include general office management and administrative support. This position will report to the CEO and the Operations team and with direction from the business development team. This position supports day-to-day operations of a professional office and occasionally requires availability to work outside of standard hours. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to learn about all aspects of a non-profit and is interested in urban planning, design, and/or community development professions.
