Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic pharmacist to work within an innovative and progressive pharmacy department that is committed to improving patient care and patient outcomes.
The pharmacy department has expanded within recent years following investment in the team and we are looking to continue to improve and develop our team to ensure our patients get the best possible outcomes from their medicines.
You will provide a mental health pharmacy service to specialist mental health teams, outpatient clinics for clozapine, depot antipsychotics and lithium where you will be actively involved in direct patient care.
Successful applicants will integrate within clinical teams as part of the multi-disciplinary approach delivering medicines optimisation including deprescribing and improving processes to reduce risks with medicines especially between different care settings. You will have opportunities to liaise across interfaces of care with other providers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a enthusiastic and inspirational pharmacist who is committed to optimising the medicines of patients living with mental health problems. You would be joining a progressive pharmacy department which works closely with a range of healthcare professionals.
This is a rotational post where the successful applicant will rotate between inpatient services and community mental health services gaining a range of experience in specialties such as older peoples mental health, learning disabilities, adult mental health, forensic psychiatry and more.
Banding is either at Band 6 or 7 depending on experience. Anyone employed at Band 6 will progress to a Band 7 role upon completion of the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy (which is fully funded). Please refer to the job description for further details.
Participation in Weekend, Bank Holiday and On call rotas will be required.
