Hourly Rate: $18.03 What you will be doing: Oversee the set-up and breakdown of function rooms Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up: food, beverages, ice, dishes, and utensils; replenish as needed Provide any service required by the guests on the banquet floor Provide support for banquet servers during events Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our banquet venues exceeds expectations Assist guest regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods Act as a liaison between the Kitchen and the floor. Assume responsibility of the function in the absence of the Banquet Manager. Assist with Payroll and Scheduling responsibilities as assigned. Effectively manage, lead and supervise the banquet team. Ensure the delivery of excellent service by maintaining high staff morale and team spirit. Motivate, lead, coach and monitor the performance of the Banquet team members.
