We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating a research project, SOW: Feasibility and Effectiveness of a Community-informed Toolkit for Enabling Healthy Eating in Hong Kong Primary Schools: A Pilot RCT. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: - Conducting on-site biometric measurements (e.g., height, weight, blood pressure, waist circumference, and other basic health indicators) for primary school students, parents and teachers at designated schools (Happy Valley / Sham Shui Po); - supporting the coordination and smooth implementation of measurement activities and questionnaire data collection activities; - adhering to infection control, safety, and ethical guidelines to ensure participant safety, comfort, and confidentiality; - interacting professionally and courteously with children, parents, teachers, and school staff; and - assisting with post-event procedures, including equipment cleaning, packing, and data checking. He/she will be normally assigned to work less than 68 hours per four consecutive weeks. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience, and competence: - Be currently enrolled full-time in Nursing programme at HKMU during the contract period; - at least 5 subjects at Level 2 or above in HKDSE (or equivalent), including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics; or a recognized diploma; Relevant experience or training in healthcare, social service, or related fields is preferred; - prior experience in supporting N&HS events or community health activities will be an advantage; - demonstrate a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; - possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in engaging with children; and - be a responsible team player and able to work collaboratively with a degree of independence.
