In this dynamic role, you will:

• Lead and inspire a dedicated team of Security Officers, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining balance and efficiency in daily workflows within the Security Department
• Uphold service standards aligned with SMC’s/EDM’s mission, vision, and values
• Respond to incidents , conduct interviews, and lead investigations — demonstrating hands-on expertise in all core security functions
• Adapt and support across multiple campuses and shifts as needed, bringing flexibility and reliability to every assignment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree Or equivalent or two years of related training and experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in healthcare security
• Upon hire: FEMA Level 100 or higher certification
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Upon hire: Basic Security Officer Certification and Supervisory Development Certification through International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety
• 2 years of related experience and/or training desired, preferably in Healthcare Security and Safety
