WHAT WILL YOU BE WORKING ON EVERY DAY?

• Work with business partners to effectively translate to technology teams business problems into requirements or solutions to drive for new features or enhancements to existing technology. Includes the development and documentation of business requirements and/or business solutions.
• Bridge the gap between the implementation of new or enhanced technology features and how they can be leveraged and optimized in operational workflows.
• Assist with documentation and standardization of workflows to be leveraged for testing, training and on-boarding new employees.
• Serve as a liaison and coordinator for user acceptance testing and system upgrade planning.
• Continually review test plans to determine opportunities for improvement.
• Become a subject matter expert in represented areas of technology (e.g., Commercial, Government Dental and Ocular).
• Drive and maintain alignment between technology and operations. Partner to prioritize efforts between these areas.
• Continually work with business to identify process improvements and assist with implementation of such improvements. Conduct any needed root cause or trend analysis to formulate recommendations and facilitate informed decision making.
• Drive adoption of new processes by understanding pain points, collaborating and training staff and leaders.
• Use judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Partner with the PMO on various implementations that involve adoption of specific technology within operations.
• Serve as an operations technical partner in the development of new solutions (e.g., Hub, portals, mobile applications, etc.)
• Define operational best practices to support SaaS clients and inform technology partners working change/enhancement requests and/or future technology development.
• Lead internal meetings with the stakeholders to gain feedback and communicate appropriate status, risks, and issues
• Mentor more specialized BA’s within operations to further develop their skill set.
• Effectively manage complex business challenges, tight deadlines, competing priorities and interactions with the management team
• Prepare and implement various reports for operational areas to utilize on a go-forward basis to allow for appropriate management of processes.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED TO HAVE TO BE GOOD CANDIDATE?

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years in an analytical or business analysis role.
• Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Technically adept—able to build reports, dashboards, and configure/administer software.
• Strong QA lifecycle knowledge—coordinate, track, and validate testing across environments.
• Skilled at asking the right questions to uncover needs and requirements.
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts.
• Excellent independent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong documentation and workflow mapping abilities.
• Exceptional verbal communication and time management skills.
• Proficiency with business analytics tools like Power BI.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED TO HAVE TO BE A GREAT CANDIDATE?

• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies (certification a plus).
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar credential.
• Familiarity with the healthcare or dental industry.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, EDI operations, and SQL.
• Experience with SSIS/SSRS (Visual Studio 2019 or similar tools).
• Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

WHAT ARE IMPORTANT THINGS THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS ROLE?

• We’re looking for a process improvement expert who excels at problem-solving and bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
• This is a remote role with core hours of Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM CST.
