We’re looking for a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the best care possible. Key Responsibilities: X-Ray Procedures: Capture high-quality radiographs as ordered by physicians using proper radiation protection for both patients and staff. Prepare radiographic equipment and suites for daily use. Handle equipment malfunctions and follow the chain of command for resolution. Escort patients to and from x-ray suites, ensuring correct identity verification and accurate exam details. Fluoroscopy: Operate the digital C-arm fluoroscopy machine and assist physicians during procedures under sterile technique. Set up sterile trays, open required medications, and ensure proper disposal of bodily fluids and sharps. Document fluoroscopic time and patient flow in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Clean and stock the injection suites daily. Office and Administrative Support: Ensure patient exams are imported into the PACS system prior to appointments. Monitor and manage x-ray tasks in EHR and facilitate exam requests from external providers and patients. Maintain radiation safety records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Assist with phone and email correspondence under office guidelines. Requirements Physical Requirements: Stand and walk for up to 8 hours during a shift. Lift and transfer patients up to 290 pounds with assistance. Operate radiology equipment and manipulate objects up to 15 pounds. Push patients in wheelchairs or gurneys across distances. Move up to 45 pounds multiple times throughout the day. Quality Assurance & Audit Measures: Complete tasks efficiently and monitor performance through audits.
