Job Description
As a Warehouse Assistant, you would be responsible to ensure a high level of accuracy with product management, as well as safe custody/storage of business assets. Candidates must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a safety focus and demonstrate a passion for exceeding customer expectations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in ColdHaus Direct’s daily inbound or outbound warehouse operations
• Operate forklifts and motorized pallet jacks following company paid certification
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of put aways and proper securement of product
• Receive, check in and put away inbound stock in a timely and accurate manner
• Replenish picking locations following FIFO and unload inbound trailers
• Work within our fulfillment department for major brand order processing and E-commerce fulfillment
• Assist customers at our facility for pickups and drop offs
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Help maintain our AA BRC rating, the highest food grade certification available

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years warehouse experience, and Secondary-school education is preferred
• Forklift license with experience for minimum 3 years is required
• Experience operating forklifts and motorized pallet jacks is desired
• Reach license is an asset
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Results oriented
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ambition to want to learn new technology processes with scanning inbound and outbound packages
