Job Description:
Berklee is seeking an organized, collaborative, and student-centered Assistant Registrar for Transfer and Articulation to join the Office of the Registrar. This pivotal role ensures that every credit earned by students—whether transferred from another institution, earned via AP/IB/CLEP exams, or awarded through Berklee Global Partners—is reviewed, validated, and applied with care and precision.
Berklee’s mission is to empower artists to build careers that shape the future of music and the creative arts. Our vision is to nurture the growth of a diverse and inclusive global arts community by providing transformative educational experiences rooted in creativity, innovation, and excellence. The Assistant Registrar’s work is directly connected to that mission—helping students navigate their academic path with clarity, consistency, and support.
This role supports all aspects of transfer credit evaluation and articulation for students at both Berklee College of Music (BCM) and Boston Conservatory at Berklee (BCB). From creating transcript evaluations and articulation agreements to overseeing ProArts Consortium registration and internal transfers, the Assistant Registrar is a critical bridge between students, academic advising, enrollment, and academic departments. They help ensure our systems are accurate, our policies are clear, and our students are seen.
Key Responsibilities Include:
This is a highly collaborative and technical role requiring a strong understanding of student information systems (especially Workday and Salesforce), a commitment to operational excellence, and a deep respect for the student experience.
