JOB DESCRIPTION

As an IT Systems Administrator at GlobeAir, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and security of our IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include supporting virtual environments, managing backups, and assisting with cyber security measures. You will also help maintain our M365 and SharePoint platforms and provide second-level IT support for operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• An educational background in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or relevant hands-on experience).
• 1-2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
• Basic understanding of hypervisors and virtual environments.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, backups, and security best practices.
• Experience with M365 and SharePoint is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus (German is not required).
• Ability to work on-site at our headquarters in Hörsching, Austria.
• A proactive and organized approach to work, with good problem-solving skills.
• Right to live and work in Austria.

• Virtual environment support: Assist in managing and optimizing hypervisors and virtualized systems.

• IT infrastructure support: Help maintain and improve the company’s IT systems to meet performance requirements.

• System backups: Perform and monitor backups to ensure data integrity and recovery readiness.
• Cyber security assistance: Contribute to implementing and maintaining basic security protocols to safeguard our systems.
• End-user support: Provide technical assistance to staff and ensure client systems are functioning effectively.
• M365 & SharePoint administration: Support the administration of M365 and SharePoint to ensure secure and efficient operation.
• Second level support: Address escalated IT issues that require deeper technical knowledge.
• Learning and development: Stay informed about IT trends to keep systems secure and efficient.
