CareRx is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant L2 with Kroll pharmacy software experience to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with the preparation, packaging and organization of medication deliveries, while supporting daily operations in accordance with the Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

Role Accountabilities


- Entering new prescriptions and client information to be filled within Kroll Pharmacy software

- Process refill prescriptions within Kroll Pharmacy software

- Responding to phone inquiries from nurses providing strong customer service

- Conduct third-party adjudications required for prescription billing

- Ensure adherence to order cut-off times to achieve timely task completion

- Deliver prescription labels to the production department ahead of scheduled delivery times

- Proactively seek guidance from registered pharmacy professionals in navigating complex situations
