Job Overview

We are seeking someone who can help us with HR tasks, executive assistance, administration, and project management. We have been in business since 2013 and are busting at the seams. We need someone else to help with the workload. This is a work remotely position with the occasional in person staff meeting or company event.

This vital role combines human resources management with executive support, ensuring seamless operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and proactive, capable of managing multiple priorities with enthusiasm and professionalism. You will play a key role in supporting HR functions, coordinating talent acquisition efforts, managing employee relations, and providing executive assistance to senior leadership. Your contributions will directly impact our organizational efficiency and employee engagement.

Duties

• Assist with human resources functions including onboarding, employee data management, and payroll administration.
• Support talent acquisition processes by conducting initial screenings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating recruiting activities using platforms like indeed and HR sourcing tools
• Oversee administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, calendar management for executives, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
• Manage payroll processing and benefits administration through systems like ADP while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations
• Assist management with projects by preparing estimates, reports, and invoices. Gathering information from a variety of sources and coordinate with project parties.

Skills

• Experience with ADP Payroll systems, Canada Life Benefits.
• Experience posting jobs in shortlisting candidates for senior management.
• Strong knowledge of human resources management practices including employee relations, recruiting techniques, onboarding procedures, and training & development programs
• Familiarity with project management
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels and supporting executive needs
• Administrative experience including calendar management, data entry accuracy, interview scheduling, and document preparation
• Ability to adapt quickly, and eager to try new things with some guidance.
• Experience working with warehouse, trucking, and railroads terminology is a bonus.
• Experience with Ariba Invoicing platform is a bonus.
• Experience with ISN Network is a bonus.
• Experience with Excel is a bonus

Pay: $1,000.00-$1,250.00 per week
