Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant, a vital member dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care within a multidisciplinary clinical setting. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the physician and healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations using medical terminology accurately.
  • Assist in diagnosing conditions and developing treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
  • Administer medications and manage pain control strategies effectively.
  • Document patient encounters meticulously within electronic medical records ensuring data collection accuracy.
  • Provide patient education on treatment options, medication administration, and home care instructions to promote health literacy

Experience

  • Experience working with electronic medical records, Telus PS Suite EMR
  • Knowledge of medical terminology coupled with excellent patient care skills in diverse clinical environments.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and engaging with patients across various settings.
