PRIMARY PURPOSE:
triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking an Instructional Designer to join the Academic Services team at our Campus Support Centre, located in Mississauga, ON.
The Instructional Designer helps support the ongoing operation of the development of new and existing programs and courses delivered in the on-ground delivery in the College. The Instructional Designer also assists the Manager of Academic Development and Instructional Design in the continuous improvement effort to ensure course quality standards are met, best practices are followed, and our courses and programs continue to improve while the learner and faculty experience improves.
The Instructional Designer supports the department by working with Subject Matter Experts on new programs and course design to build appropriate and relevant course material that aligns with the adult learning model. Focusing on the organization’s key objective to improve and maintain high quality and customer satisfaction.
The Instructional Designer will contribute to the ongoing validation that the College’s admission and aptitude testing, learning outcomes, and educational outcomes meet specific industry requirements through needs analysis, instructional design, and employer/student feedback.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Curriculum:
Coordinate and lead major curriculum repair, revamp, and update efforts as identified by faculty and students.
Instructional Support:
Assist with providing direct instructional support on major requests and issues.
Assist with processing all feedback that comes from interactions with faculty and employees.
Brightspace:
Act as one of the advisors for the curriculum as it exists or is being entered into Brightspace.
