Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering exceptional customer service, and efficiently managing beverage orders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a lively environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The position requires proficiency in POS systems, food safety standards, and excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
  • Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and adherence to legal regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
  • Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and calculating bills accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to local regulations
  • Hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of the food service industry
