QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in life sciences, economics, or business with an advanced degree in one of these fields

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCES:

• At least 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or device industry in a similar position
• Significant experience and understanding of the healthcare system, pricing, access and reimbursement processes of the assigned country is required
• Experience launching products in the retail & hospital-based setting would be ideal
• Strong understanding of healthcare funding and decision-making at national, regional and local level of the assigned country
• Experience in engagement & existing network with relevant Market Access stakeholders
• Clear understanding of how to best put patients’ needs first while also achieving commercial and business objectives
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organisation

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Demonstrated knowledge of pricing trends, tactics and payer dynamics
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple activities (both “self” and through delegation) and working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and influencing skill
• Ability to drive progress through both personal engagement and by influencing others across the organization
• Ability to effectively manage very senior level relationships, internally and externally
• Exceptional written and oral communication, and organizational skills

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Regional Market Access Manager to lead the development and execution of market access strategies for our pharmaceutical products, especially Biosimilars within Germany. This position requires a deep understanding of the German healthcare system, pricing and reimbursement processes, and regional healthcare policy landscapes. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including Commercial, Medical, and Regulatory teams, to ensure timely Market Access and optimal product launch success.
