THE ROLE

As a DevOps Engineer you will support building functional systems that improve customer experience. You will support the deployment of product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a solid background in software engineering and be familiar with Ruby or Python.

Your responsibilities:

• Application deployment, and migration between environments and release.
• Collaborate with organization risk and compliance information security units to keep applications compliant with Citi standards.
• Maintain COB activities and failover activities for the applications within the portfolio.
• Act as point of escalation for service failures, incidents and problems caused by supported technologies.
• Communicate with local vendors, regulators and customer support teams from all over the globe.
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.
• Striving for continuous improvement building continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
• Implement integrations requested by customers.
• Deploy updates and fixes.
• Provide Level 2 technical support.
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Develop scripts to automate visualization.
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
