SITE ENGINEER
Beldare Homes Ltd, a prominent developer specialising in new build works, is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Site Engineer to join our team in the Wicklow/Dublin region. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our vision of creating extraordinary homes and communities, as part of a dynamic organization dedicated to delivering the highest quality projects. The Site Engineer will be responsible for the technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring work adheres to specifications, drawings, and quality standards. This involves setting out, surveying, quality control, health and safety compliance, and effective communication with various stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be committed to excellence in residential and community development.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Degree qualified in Engineering (Civil/ Structural).
· Experience as a Site Engineer. Residential project experience an advantage.
· Strong setting out/computer program experience- e.g. AutoCad, Total Station, GPS etc.
· Knowledge of the latest building regulations and certification standards.
· Accuracy, attention to detail, and methodical nature.
· 3 years minimum engineering experience.
· Setting out all elements of the work using modern instruments including foundations, retaining walls, landscaping, boundaries, civil infrastructure etc
· Maintain the engineering documents & drawings on site
· Attending weekly progress meetings with site management
· Preparing as-built drawings on completion of the various elements of the works
· Maintaining accurate site records
· Reviewing drawings, specifications and effectively communicating information to the entire team
· Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
· Working alongside and with the ground works manager to resolve engineering challenges
· Ensuring that all materials used and works executed are done safely and as per the required specifications
· Quantifying materials for incorporation into the works
