ASL Aviation Holdings is a global aviation services holding company with a fleet of more than 160 aircraft, focused on cargo and passenger airline operations, aircraft leasing and maintenance. Headquartered in Dublin Ireland, the Group includes five wholly owned airlines; ASL Airlines Ireland, ASL Airlines Belgium, ASL Airlines France, ASL Airlines United Kingdom and most recently, ASL Airlines Australia. The Group also includes associate and joint venture airlines FlySafair in South Africa, K-Mile Asia in Thailand & QuikJet in India.
ASL also owns its own EASA Part 145 aircraft maintenance organization, ASL Maintenance. With a workforce of over 300 people, ASL Maintenance performs base and line maintenance on the group’s 150 aircraft (B747s as well as B737 NGs and Classics) in our hangars at Brussels, Liege as well as line facilities in Paris CDG airport.
ASL’s airlines operate cargo networks for the world’s leading express parcel integrators and online retailers. Our group, joint-venture and associate airlines also operate scheduled and charter cargo and passenger services under ASL’s own airline brands and on behalf of airline ACMI customers and postal services. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assist with the rostering and management of Line Engineers at ASLI Line stations
  • Liaise with the Civil Aviation Authorities, worldwide Contracted Organisations and other suppliers.
  • Liaise with the CAMO department to execute the planned aircraft maintenance.
  • Ensuring the supply and upkeep of tooling and equipment to the Line Stations. Liaise with the Logistics department.
  • Liaise with the Compliance department to ensure the Line Stations are maintained to Part 145 standards.
  • Use and promote the use of the company AMOS maintenance system
  • Assist with the development and upkeep of company procedures
  • Perform Risk Assessments
  • Liaise with the Finance department to ensure the accuracy of invoices and prompt payment of suppliers. Assist with the administration of contracts between the Part 145 organisation and suppliers.
  • Shall maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have a recognised aircraft engineering qualification such as a part 66 licence or Engineering degree

EXPERIENCE:

  • Have experience of Line Maintenance activities
  • Possess a sound knowledge of airworthiness regulations, such as EASA Part-145 and Part M/CAMO
  • Knowledge of AMOS maintenance and engineering computer system would be an advantage
  • Experience using MS Word and Excel
  • Have a basic understanding of general accounting principles
    Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU.
