Job Description This position requires safety conscious individuals with a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice, with oversight of the supervising AME, performs grooming, servicing, inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft and aeronautical products. Duties include: Servicing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing rotary wing aircraft Keeping detailed records of work performed Consulting with aircrew Organizing and housekeeping of the hangar facility Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor This position does involve shift work including days, evenings, and weekends as well as an on-call rotation. Work Environment: Work is mostly conducted at our hangar facility in Southport Manitoba and includes ground handling and servicing of aircraft indoors and outdoors as required. Travel to support away from base operations is required when necessary.
