We are seeking a dynamic and culturally grounded individual to lead engagement efforts within the Whakapiki Ake kaupapa – a Māori health workforce development initiative that supports rangatahi Māori to pursue tertiary pathways into health. As Kaiurungi Matua, you will: Provide leadership and mentoring within the Whakapiki Ake team. Build and maintain strong relationships with rangatahi, whānau, kura, iwi, and health sector partners. Lead strategic engagement with secondary schools and communities across Aotearoa. Deliver culturally responsive events and resources that support Māori student success. Champion kaupapa Māori principles and uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi in all aspects of your mahi. This is a fulltime (37.5h per week) permanent position.
