Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage daily sales operations within the assigned territory and achieve sales, volume and distribution targets.
- Lead, coach and motivate Sales Representatives to maximize productivity and target achievement.
- Set individual sales targets and monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
- Plan, optimize and monitor sales routes, customer coverage and territory allocation.
- Ensure effective execution of the sales team route plan and make adjustments based on business requirements.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Monitor customer aging, collections and company assets, including follow-up for asset recovery from inactive customers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities and provide actionable feedback and recommendations to the Sales Manager.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly performance covering sales, distribution, route adherence, attendance, aging and assets.
- Manage team attendance, schedules and field activities and provide regular feedback to management.
- Address customer and sales-team issues and escalate critical matters to the Sales Manager.
- Ensure timely delivery and service to customers.
- Optimize sales operations to improve efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, procedures, driving standards and code of conduct.
- Drive achievement of revenue, market share and volume targets in line with department objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; Master’s degree is an advantage.
