Situated in Zone 5, Sutton is less than 30 minutes by train from central London, and south and south west London are easily accessible by public transport. There are 10 train stations which serve key neighbourhoods within the borough providing direct connections to London Victoria, London Bridge, London Blackfriars and St Pancras International. Sutton also has direct rail connections with Epsom, Dorking, Guildford and Horsham, as well as Wimbledon for an interchange with the London Underground and West Croydon for the London Overground. There’s also an extensive road network which provides close and easy access to the M25 and M23.
About the Service and Team :
The After School Club runs in 2 locations in the borough - 1 in Central Sutton and 1 at The Grange Play Centre in Beddington Park. The Holiday Club runs at The Grange. We offer high quality play opportunities for children aged 4 - 12. We work closely with parent and other agencies to ensure that children are given the right level of support to engage in the activities we offer. We are an inclusive setting and provide a excellent levels of care for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

About the Role and Our Ideal Candidate :

• To support the Lead/Play Service Manager in the provision of high quality and inclusive early and childcare services which meet the individual play, learning, care, health and social and emotional developmental needs of all children attending Play Service settings in partnership with their parents/carers.
• To create a welcoming and family-friendly environment, working as part of a team.
• To adhere to essential policies and procedures - both at LBS and setting level
• To ensure all children are kept protected and safe through the use of recognised child protection guidelines and that children are referred to other agencies as required.
