Our Drivers are committed to Service, Efficiency and Safety. This position requires a Class A or B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements. This position will support our Pico Propane & Fuels location in Odessa, Tx. Duties/Responsibilities: Complies with all city, state, and federal regulations Loads, secures, transports, and delivers propane to residential and commercial locations Provides a high level of service to customers Performs pre and post-trip inspections on equipment used for the transportation of hazardous materials Maintains and completes accurate records by documenting truck inspections, hours of service, product transported, and miles driven in compliance with all DOT regulations Maintains the operational efficiency of vehicles by monitoring truck maintenance needs, conducting minor repairs and conducting daily DOT truck inspections to ensure maximum vehicle safety Ensures that delivery vehicle receives service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor Applies a thorough understanding of the technical concepts, practices and procedures and a general knowledge of industry standards and government regulations related to testing and transporting bulk petroleum products to pipeline injection points Performs other related duties as assigned The absence of specific statements of duties does not exclude those tasks from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment of the position.
