Als monteur stadswarmte bij Vattenfall kan dat en werk je mee aan een fossielvrije toekomst. Stadswarmte wordt een steeds belangrijker alternatief voor gas als warmtebron. Dat zien we in de grote groei van het aantal aansluitingen. De installaties die zorgen dat de warmte of koude binnenkomt op de juiste temperatuur en met de juiste druk noemen we warmtesets. Als Monteur Stadswarmte voer je preventief onderhoud uit en los je storingen op. Dat kan bij particulieren thuis zijn, in kantoren en bedrijven of bij één van de verdeelstations. Het werk kan gepland zijn, maar je werkt ook volgens een 24/7 wacht- en storingsdienstrooster. Zo’n dienst duurt één week. Hoe druk het is, hangt onder andere af van het weer. In de zomer is het vaak rustig, dan heb je tijd voor extra zaken, zoals het volgen van e-learning modules of het uitvoeren van (preventief) onderhoud. In het stookseizoen moet je soms extra uren maken. Na een gedegen inwerkperiode zul je samen met een collega eens in de 6 tot 8 weken meedraaien in de storings- en wachtdienst.
