We are seeking a skilled and efficient Pastry & Sandwich Artisan to join our team at Atmospresso Cafe Bakery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating an exceptional variety of freshly filled croissants and expertly crafted sandwiches, with a strong focus on impeccable cleanliness and fast-paced, precise work.

Responsibilities

• Artisan Croissant Preparation: Precisely fill and decorate a daily selection of croissants with both sweet and savory fillings.
• Sandwich Craftsmanship: Prepare a diverse menu of high-quality sandwiches using fresh ingredients, ensuring each item is built to our exact specifications and presented beautifully.
• Speed and Efficiency: Work quickly and consistently to meet the demands of our busy morning rush, managing multiple orders and tasks without compromising on quality.
• Hygiene and Food Safety: Strictly adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations. This includes maintaining a sparkling clean and organized workstation at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth and productive workflow.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a bakery or fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
• Specific, hands-on experience with filling and decorating pastries, particularly croissants.
• Proven skill in preparing a variety of sandwiches from scratch.
• The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and a dedicated team player.

Additional Details

• Location: Lime Street, EC3M 7HB
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
