HR PROJECTS AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated HR Projects and Operations Manager to join our team and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and reliable HR Projects and Operations Manager to join our team. You will provide operations HR support to the Advisory business unit based in London and also lead on a wide range of HR projects, including business improvement initiatives and acquisition integration.
You will embody our core behaviours of integrity, curiosity, warmth, and ambition. As a member of the HR team, it is key that you are able to work independently, as well as working efficiently as part of a team.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project priorities and ensure effective planning and execution
  • Deliver commercial and pragmatic HR solutions aligned with company policy and employment law
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams, offering guidance on HR strategy and operational matters
  • Support employee engagement, well-being, talent management, and succession planning initiatives
  • Foster the integration of business areas, contributing to a unified “one SOCOTEC” culture
  • Provide mentorship and hands-on support to the onsite HR team, developing their skills and fostering career growth

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrable experience managing HR projects and acquisition integrations
  • Strong generalist HR experience with a solid understanding of employment law and best practices
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop HR teams to enhance performance
  • Proven ability to manage a varied workload with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and influencing skills
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Full driving license
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
