We’re seeking a highly skilled General Manager to join our civil construction and earthmoving company to oversee operations, drive growth, and ensure excellence in project delivery through the SEQ region from the Gold Coast up the Sunshine Coast.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to all departments, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Manage client and supplier relationships and identify new business opportunities to expand our presence.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the Earthworks/ Civil industry.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving profitability and growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- In-depth knowledge of civil works processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- You must be based in South East Queensland
- Construction Induction/ White Card is mandatory
- Candidates that hold a HR truck license and plant RIIs will be looked at in preference
