Quality Inspector III General Summary: Responsible for the day to day recording and validation of material between customers, vendors and operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Inspects materials and products, for conformance to specifications Inspects finished product for quality and customer requirements. Inspects finished or in-process fabricated or mechanical parts, equipment and assemblies of a complex nature and determines acceptance or rejection. Carry out policies and procedures for testing and evaluating product. Responsible for operating mechanical and electrical test equipment. Working to Standard Operating Procedures (work instructions) Assists in recording of Non-conformities of parts/product. Assisting in the controlling/segregating of conforming vs. non-conforming parts /product Evaluates parts or assemblies against standards, blueprints, engineering, and specifications Leads and directs the work of others and assists in the training of less experienced inspectors. Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions or injuries to your Supervisor or Manager immediately. Ability to operate a CMM. Assists in the training of less experienced inspectors.
