Regularly walk the property to maintain cleanliness, removing litter and debris from all common areas. Support the unit turn schedule with routine cleaning of vacant units. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, such as monitoring the parking deck for trash or assisting maintenance with touch-up painting in common areas. Report all property and liability incidents at the property as soon as possible to the Service Manager. Understand and apply all safety policies and procedures for the property. Maintain compliance with ADA, OSHA and other regulations affecting the maintenance of the property. Learn to operate necessary commercial cleaning equipment in a safe manner. What You’ll Need High school diploma or GED. Minimum 3 months in commercial housekeeping and or general maintenance experience in property management maintenance. Strong customer service and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with coworkers, guests, vendors, and contractors. What’ll Set You Apart Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Yardi, and other relevant applications. Physical Activities and Work Environment Will need to be on feet. Will need to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching above shoulders. Constantly indoors in all weather conditions that may make the environment uncomfortable (hot in summer, cold in winter). Occasional exposure to paint fumes, solvents adhesives, etc. Example – apartment during painting and/or immediately during or after turnover.
